Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for an Acute Medicine Unit position requiring recent specialty experience and NIHSS certification.
Details
- Acute Medicine Unit within a hospital setting
- Medical/Surgical patient population
- 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Schedule runs Sunday through Saturday, 7P-7A
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg specialty
Additional Information
- Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered
- Former permanent staff returning as non-local travelers must have a 2-year break in service
- RTO must be requested prior to accepting an offer and cannot be requested after
