Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN with structural heart and hemodynamic support device experience for a hospital-based position in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 7 holding beds
• Uses GE Innova imaging systems and Impella hemodynamic support devices
• Documentation performed in MacLab and Meditech
• Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with self-scheduling
• STEMI call required approximately 10-12 days per month
• Floating required within EP and Stress Lab departments
• Procedures performed include TAVR, PFO closure, atherectomy, PCI, right/left heart catheterization, Impella/IABP placement, implants, DCCV, and TEE

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Experience with structural heart procedures, IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR required
• Advanced skills in PCI, PFO, Impella, and IABP required
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Cardiac Cath Lab performing complex interventional and structural heart procedures
• Work alongside an experienced, tenured Cath Lab team

• Surgical scrubs are provided by the hospital
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• Florida requires two professional references for consideration
