Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse - Operating Room for a Spine/Neuro/ENT specialty at a Level 3 trauma teaching hospital, requiring at least 1 year of strong OR experience and an MN RN license.
Details
- Operating Room unit specializing in Spine/Neuro/ENT procedures
- 5x8 day and evening shifts with start times of 6:45am, 9am, 11am, and 2:45pm
- Weekend shifts required as needed per department
- On-call shifts required as needed per department
- Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital may be required
- Block scheduling accommodations available
- Uses Epic (Excellian) for charting
Requirements
- Active MN RN license (pending license accepted)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent, strong OR experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Epic/Excellian charting experience required
- Community hospital experience required
- Experience in a range of OR specialties may be needed, including vascular, orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, urology, and robotics-assisted procedures
Additional Information
- Level 3 trauma teaching hospital with 317 staffed beds
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
- Returning staff must have been separated from perm employment for at least 3 months prior to starting
- RTO should not exceed 5 days during the assignment
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Reference checks are not provided by the facility for past perm employees or post-assignment travelers
