Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a Surgical/Urology/Thoracic unit requiring telemetry and dysrhythmia management experience.
Details
- Work on a Surgical/Urology/Thoracic unit providing pre and post-surgical bedside care
- Two levels of care provided: adult inpatient acute and telemetry with continuous vital sign monitoring
- Night shift schedule: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active RN license (MD state or compact) currently in hand
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years current nursing experience required
- Dysrhythmia management experience required
- Telemetry experience required, including work on a unit with pre and post-surgical patients
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- 1-2 prior travel assignments preferred
- Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) required
Additional Information
- Provide pre and post-operative bedside surgical care to adult inpatients
- Orientation occurs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
- Strong candidates preferred given the facility's academic teaching hospital environment
