Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool role requiring telemetry proficiency and the flexibility to work across multiple units.

Details

• Float pool position covering 5 different Med/Surg/Tele units
• 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
• Rotating every other weekend and every other holiday
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Meditech IV experience required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• 2+ years of recent acute care experience required
• Telemetry experience required, including the ability to independently read telemetry strips
• Must pass an on-site telemetry exam on Day 1 with a score of 84% or better (2 attempts allowed)
• 3-5 years of previous float pool experience preferred
• Must be adaptable and able to quickly transition between different units

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care across multiple Med/Surg and Telemetry units as part of a float pool team
• No extended RTO allowed, with most Fridays required
• No specific schedule requests accommodated
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local
• First-time travelers may be considered
