Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience in CT and ARRT CT certification for an acute care hospital setting.

Details

• Adult Acute Care, Emergency Department, ICU, Level II Trauma Center, and Pediatric Outpatient work settings
• Night shift, 4x10 Hours, 19:00-7:00
• Rotating weekends and holidays with every third weekend required
• No floating and no on-call requirements
• Uses GE and Philips CT equipment with PACS
• Epic charting system experience required

Requirements

• ARRT CT and BLS required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
• Community Hospital experience required
• Adult Acute Care, Emergency Department, ICU, Level II Trauma Center, and Pediatric Outpatient experience required
• Skilled in 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurement
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
• Experience with special procedures including aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, and vascular CTA
• Proficient in contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
• Knowledgeable in isolation precautions and PPE

Additional Information

• Perform a wide range of CT imaging procedures including abdominal, pelvic, cardiac, vascular, head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal studies
• Navy, grey, or black scrubs required
• RTO must be submitted prior to consideration and cannot be added afterward
• Local candidates accepted at a rate differential within a 50-mile radius
• First-time travelers not accepted for this position
