Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist with ARRT (R)(MR) certification and 2+ years of specialty experience for a 13-week hospital assignment.

Details

• Hospital-based MRI department
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hours, 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Every 3rd weekend required
• 1 holiday shift required
• Up to 4 on-call shifts as needed
• Potential to float to Jefferson Stratford and Jefferson Cherry Hill campuses
• Uses GE and Siemens MRI equipment with PACS imaging system
• Performs abdominal, pelvic, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular MRI studies
• Experience with MR angiography, MRCP, MRV, and cardiac MRI with/without contrast preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in MRI specialty required
• ARRT (R)(MR) certification and BLS required
• NJ license required if applicable
• Epic charting system experience required
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Skilled in contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, and peripheral IV starts
• Proficiency with isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Valid state license or certification required at time of consideration
• Two valid professional references and certification copies required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic MRI imaging across abdominal, pelvic, cranial, cardiac, thoracic, spinal, and musculoskeletal systems
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques including diffusion imaging, MIP, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Black scrub color required
• First-time travelers accepted
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration and cannot be added afterward
• Local candidates accepted within 50-mile radius at a local rate differential
• Pass/fail clinical exam required, with a maximum of 3 attempts allowed
• Orientation includes required training modules
