Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a TX or compact license and prior travel nursing experience.
Details
- Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
- Day shift, 4x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Straight 48s or 36/48 alternating schedules considered
- Required to float to other med/surg/tele units as assigned
- Cerner charting experience preferred
Requirements
- Active RN license (TX or compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) preferred
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Provide medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care to assigned patients
- Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana testing, and a positive result results in automatic cancellation
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered for the position
- Local candidates are not accepted
