Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN with active WA or Compact RN licensure and current BLS/ACLS certification for a 12-week assignment in Wenatchee, WA.

Details

• Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
• Day/evening shift schedule of 3x12s (0600-1900), 36 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Required to float as a sitter
• May float between Mares and Central Campuses in rotation

Requirements

• Active WA State or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must adhere to facility policies and unit-specific standards of practice
• Must function within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and stay current with legal aspects of nursing

Additional Information

• Coordinate and provide compassionate, high-quality patient care using the nursing process and unit standards
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments
• Perform ongoing holistic patient assessments and respond appropriately to changes in status
• Evaluate and update discharge plans based on patient needs
• Document care, assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Educate patients and families on relevant health information in a timely manner
• Delegate and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff per hospital policy
