Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Cerner EMR proficiency for a day shift acute care assignment.
Details
- Hospital-based Radiology/MRI department on the 1st floor of a 355-bed medical center
- 1 MRI unit at Main Campus plus Mobile and Open MRI at an outpatient Imaging Center
- Equipment includes GE at Main Campus, GE Mobile, and Open Hitachi
- Cerner EMR used for charting
- Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Weekend call rotation for STAT imaging requests, including Friday nights and Saturday/Sunday
- Every other weekend requirement
- Potential to float to the outpatient imaging center, approximately a 5 minute drive from Main Campus
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
- ARRT and MR certification required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Cardiac imaging competency preferred
- License required if applicable
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- AHA certifications required
- Active licensure required at time of consideration
Additional Information
- Perform MRI imaging including stroke protocols and MRI with anesthesia
- Facility includes Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lung Center, Orthopedics, General & Vascular Surgery, Surgical Weight Loss, Women's Center, and Level 3 NICU
- Scrub color is flexible
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
- Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at the local rate
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
