Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery night-shift position requiring an MT or compact license and NRP certification.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Uses Epic charting system
Requirements
- Active RN license (MT or compact) required
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required, not expiring prior to start
- NRP certification required; ACLS/PALS as appropriate for unit
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery required
- DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, including health teaching and counseling
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization and adhere to service behavior standards
- Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
