Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring MT or compact licensure and at least one year of specialty experience.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week (36 hours weekly)
- Uses Epic for charting and documentation
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- May be required to take on-call shifts during a regularly scheduled shift
Requirements
- Active RN license (MT state license or compact license) required
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications as appropriate for the unit
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery required
- Certifications must not expire prior to assignment start date
Additional Information
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
- Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive treatment to patients
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Former Intermountain employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
