Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ED RN for a Level 1 trauma center requiring 4 years of adult and pediatric emergency experience.

Details

• Emergency Department position in a large, high-acuity Level 1 trauma center
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Deferred scheduling with no block scheduling approved
• Travelers expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred
• Minimum 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric emergency experience required
• Large-scale, high-volume trauma center experience required
• Level 1 trauma center experience preferred
• Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered

Additional Information

• Deliver emergency care in a high-pressure, high-volume, inner-city trauma environment
• Provide care for complex and challenging adult and pediatric cases
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• Conditional compliance accepted if credentialing is proven to be in process
