Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and TCAR certification prior to start.

Details

• 16-bed mixed medical ICU treating trauma, neurosurgical, and medical patients
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Remote and on-unit telemetry monitoring
• Standard patient ratio of 2:1
• EPIC EMR used
• 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
• Weekend requirement of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
• No on-call requirements
• May float to Cardiac Stroke unit attached to ICU with a 3:1 ratio
• May float to other AdventHealth facilities in the region (Avista, Castle Rock, Littleton, Parker, Porter) as needed with at least 2 hours notice for off-site floats

Requirements

• Active RN license, Colorado or Compact
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• TCAR certification required prior to start date
• COVID-19 vaccination card or approved declination required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within a mixed medical ICU setting
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Subject to AdventHealth's call-off policy, which may result in mandatory rescheduling to another weekend or holiday if a weekend or holiday shift is missed
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as traveler rate with no radius restriction
• Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
