Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a hospital setting.
Details
- Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department
- 5x8 hour day shifts, Tuesday through Friday, starting at 7:30 AM
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- May be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted location
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required, CNMT preferred
- Valid state license required in hand at time of submission; compact license accepted if applicable
- License required if applicable
- Experience with Bone Scans, 3 Phase, Limited and Whole Body studies, Myocardial Exercise/Rest imaging, Gastric Emptying, HIDA Scan, PET Scan, Thyroid Studies, Uptake Scan, and Lung Ventilation/Perfusion Scan preferred
- Experience with GE and Siemens equipment preferred
- Skilled in isolation precautions/PPE, starting and maintaining IVs, and storing, handling, and disposing of radioactive materials
Additional Information
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures including bone, cardiac, gastric, and pulmonary studies
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront with minimal flexibility post-offer
- Two supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required
- Candidates must disclose any prior work history with Providence facilities, including permanent, travel, or per-diem roles
- Former Providence perm staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
- Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a lower bill rate
- Candidates with Nursys or background check hits will not be accepted
