Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with dual Nuclear Medicine and CT credentials and 2+ years of experience for a role in an adult nuclear cardiology setting.

Details

  • Work in an adult Nuclear Cardiology setting
  • Perform a range of Nuclear Medicine exams, from diagnostic to therapeutic studies
  • Utilize GE and Philips NM cameras
  • PET Scan experience preferred
  • 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Weekend rotation required every 3rd weekend
  • Holiday rotation required every 3rd holiday
  • No on-call requirement
  • May float within skillset to Plum Street Imaging and RWJUH, connected by pedestrian bridge
  • EPIC charting preferred

Requirements

  • Must hold both a Nuclear Medicine and CT credential
  • NMT credential required: ARRT(N) or CNMT
  • CT credential required: ARRT(CT), NMTCB(CT), or R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT), or R.T.(N)(CT)(ARRT) satisfying both requirements
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • License required if applicable
  • Pending NJ license accepted for submission

Additional Information

  • Work in a state-of-the-art freestanding cancer hospital featuring advanced imaging, radiology, and radiation oncology resources
  • Black scrubs required
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Local candidates accepted at the same rate
  • Facility may call off up to 1 shift per 2 weeks
  • Former RWJBH employees must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a travel clinician
