Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years experience and dual certification in both Nuclear Medicine and CT to work in a state-of-the-art cancer center.

Details

Adult, Nuclear Cardiology work setting
Hospital-based imaging department within a freestanding cancer center
4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Every 3rd weekend required
No on-call requirement
Uses GE and Philips NM cameras
Performs PET Scans
EPIC charting preferred
Must float within skillset to Plum Street Imaging and RWJUH as needed, connected by pedestrian bridge
Must work or provide on-call coverage for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years)

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
BLS certification required
Must hold both NMT and CT credentials: ARRT(N) or CNMT, plus ARRT(CT), NMTCB(CT), or R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT), or R.T.(N)(CT)(ARRT) which satisfies both requirements
Experience with a range of Nuclear Medicine exams from diagnostic to therapeutic studies
Experience with GE and Philips NM camera equipment
Active NJ or Compact license required if applicable
Pending NJ license accepted for submission

Additional Information

Work in a newly opened, 12-story, 520,000-square-foot freestanding cancer hospital offering inpatient and outpatient cancer services
Facility features advanced radiology and imaging resources including MRI, CT, PET scanning, four linear accelerators (including an MR-LINAC), and interventional radiology suites
Operated through a partnership between a major health system and an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center
Black scrubs required
First-time travelers will be considered
Local candidates accepted at the same rate
Former employees of the health system must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
