Description
American Traveler is hiring a night shift MRI Technologist with Level 1 Trauma experience and ARRT MR certification for a hospital-based imaging role.
Details
- Hospital-based MRI department at a Level 1 Trauma facility
- Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts, Wednesday-Friday 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- No call requirements
- Uses Epic EMR and PACS/Philips imaging equipment
- May be required to float to other qualified units or campuses per facility need
Requirements
- ARRT MR certification required (must have MRI listed)
- BLS certification required
- State license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
- Level 1 Trauma experience required
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Proficiency in abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine, chest, musculoskeletal, and special imaging procedures
- Experience with contrast media preparation/administration and peripheral IV starts preferred
- Cardiovascular MRI skills preferred (MR Aortogram, MR Cardiac with/without contrast)
Additional Information
- Perform MRI studies across abdominal, neurological, musculoskeletal, spinal, and cardiovascular imaging
- Hunter Green scrubs required
- Weekly orientation held every Monday with annual compliance training
- First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
