Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CO or compact RN license and multiple advanced certifications.

Details

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department
• Variable mid shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Weekend shifts required
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for clinical documentation

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS (AHA-issued, not expiring prior to start)
• Epic charting experience preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while performing health teaching and counseling
• Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans, document per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Returning Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before eligibility for this travel assignment
