Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT/Rad Tech Dual Modality technologist with ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and advanced registry in CT for a free-standing ED setting.
Details
- Free-standing ED offering 24/7 on-site X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound services with 11 licensed beds
- Designated Stroke Center with no trauma designation
- Serves ED and outpatient imaging patients
- Average patient volume of 70-80 in ED and 60-80 in Radiology
- 12hr night shift, 1900-0730, working every Friday/Saturday/Sunday for 36 hours per week
- Uses Shimadzu diagnostic X-ray equipment with Konica software, Siemens go.Top CT equipment, EPIC EMR, OmniCell med dispensing, and Philips monitors
- Potential floating required
- On-call and call-back requirements based on department needs, discussed during manager interview
Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT required (license required if applicable)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of core experience in dual-modality Radiology (DX)/CT technologist work required, with most recent experience within the last year
- Experience with IV starts and 3D rendering using TerraRecon software preferred
- Siemens equipment experience required
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Last 4 of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
- Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN title required

- Orientation includes New Employee Orientation (NEO) plus 2 days of departmental orientation
- 75% of holidays required to be worked
- Black scrub color required

- First-time travelers considered depending on experience level
- Returning employees must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position
- Radius rule requires permanent address to be at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
