Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift position requiring Epic charting experience and a NJ or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Telemetry unit of a hospital environment
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30)
• Floating required
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active RN license (NJ State or Compact) in hand at time of consideration
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Experienced in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Proficient in isolation precautions and PPE use
• Experienced in respiratory care including nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management
• Skilled in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and peripheral line care/management
• Charge nurse experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry nursing care within a Med/Surg-Tele environment
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Former staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted for consideration
• First-time travelers may be considered depending on experience level
