Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ year of experience for a night shift assignment supporting adult acute care, trauma, and outpatient CT imaging.
Details
- CT Tech role within Radiology/Cardiology department
- Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ICU, and Emergency Department patient populations
- Approximately 100 visits per day
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 17:00-02:00 or 4x9 hours Monday-Thursday from 5p-2a
- Every weekend required
- No call or float requirements
- Uses GE equipment and PACS system
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- ARRT CT certification required
- NH state license required, if applicable
- BLS certification preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Community hospital and Trauma Level II experience preferred
- Skilled in CT studies including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, sinuses, soft tissue neck, carotid, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma with and/or without contrast
- Proficient in 3D rendering (MIP, surface shaded displays, volume rendering) and multiplanar reconstruction (MRP)
- Experience with region of interest (ROI) measurement, contrast media preparation/administration, isolation precautions, and radiation safety
- Preferred experience with pediatric acute/outpatient care, colorectal and enterography studies, IV pyelogram, cardiac CT (calcium scoring, coronary angiography), peripheral IV starts, venipuncture, aspirations, biopsies, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, and vascular CTA

- 40 hours of unit orientation provided
- Scrubs provided
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Travelers who were previously employed at any facility associated with this health system are not eligible for consideration, regardless of separation length or duration worked
- Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at a reduced rate
