Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level III Trauma community hospital, requiring 1+ years of CT experience and ARRT/BLS certification.
Details
- Community hospital setting with inpatient, outpatient, neuro, full body, cancer, stroke, and lung screening cases
- 4 scanners in house handling approximately 100 patients per day
- Evening shift, 5x8 hours, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM
- May be asked to adjust shift times or work early/late due to staffing needs from call-offs or PTO
- On-call required as needed per department needs
- Will float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed
- Uses Siemens Force and GE scanners along with PACS system
- Epic/Excellian charting system used
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
- ARRT and BLS certification required; ARRT CT and ARRT R preferred
- Epic/Excellian charting experience required
- Community hospital experience required; Level II Trauma experience preferred
- Experience with PACS and contrast administration required
- Skills required include abdomen/pelvis studies, IV pyelogram, and various contrast studies
- Experience with isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media administration, radiation safety, and starting peripheral IVs
- Ability to work in adult acute care, outpatient, ER, and ICU settings
- License required if applicable
- Pending state license accepted

- Level III Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching hospital
- Solid gray scrubs required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted for this radiology position
- RTO ideally no more than 5 days
- Returning staff must have a 3-month gap since their last shift worked as perm staff or per diem
- Block scheduling is not accommodated
