Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Labor and Delivery position requiring 2 years of circulating experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

Work in the Birthing/Labor and Delivery Unit of a hospital setting
Night shift schedule with flexible options of 36, 40, or 48 hours per week
36 or 48 hour schedules consist of 3x12 or 4x12 night shifts from 7pm-7:30am
40 hour schedule consists of 2 12-hour night shifts and 2 8-hour shifts
Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

Active MA RN license required, temporary MA license accepted
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience with required circulating experience
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and intermediate-level EFM
Epic EMR experience required
DOB and full Social Security number required for consideration
Medical or religious COVID exemption documentation required if applicable

Additional Information

Preferred but not required certifications include ALSO, Perinatal NCC certifications (Maternal Newborn Nursing Level I, Postpartum or Inpatient Obstetric Nursing), and First Latch breastfeeding certification
Blue scrubs recommended though no strict color requirement
Former permanent staff at this facility are not eligible to return as travelers
RTO limited to no more than 7 days during the assignment
Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a reduced rate
