Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment at a Level II Trauma acute care hospital, requiring at least 1 year of experience and BLS certification.
Details
- Outpatient PT setting within an acute hospital
- 5x8 day shift schedule
- Some Saturday shifts required
- No on-call requirements
- Epic EMR used for charting
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent PT experience required
- BLS certification required
- Alaska PT license required if applicable
- Compact license must be active and in hand at time of consideration
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with orthopedic and neurologic patient populations including post-op joint and spine surgeries, stroke, and spinal cord injury preferred
Additional Information
- Facility is a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma acute care hospital
- Scrubs provided by facility
- Free on-site parking
- First-time travelers accepted
- Candidates must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be considered for the travel rate; local candidates accepted at a lower rate
- Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities within the region
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside the 50-mile radius
- Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required
- Candidates must disclose any prior employment history with the health system, including permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem roles
