Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with RRT certification and NY state licensure for a night shift assignment.
Details
- Respiratory Therapy department setting
- Night shift, 7p-7a
- 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
- 13-week contract length
- EMR: Meditech
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA accredited school for Respiratory Care
- NY State license required if applicable
- RRT registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- BLS and ACLS required
- NRP and PALS preferred
- Strong knowledge of acid/base/electrolyte relationships and implications of life-threatening situations
- 2 references required from a Charge RN, Supervisor, or Manager within the past year and within the specialty
Additional Information
- Establishes patient ventilator settings using metric measurements and advanced principles of volume, flow, pressure, and time relationships
- Radius rule applies; local candidates within the specified radius are not accepted
