Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 1+ year of experience and ARRT(R) or RCIS certification for a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab.
Details
- Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization lab setting
- Performs procedures including diagnostic and left/right heart catheterization, cardiac stent placement, PCI/PTCA, IABP and Impella insertion, TAVR, Watchman, and pacemaker insertion
- Uses GE Innova IGS and Philips imaging equipment, PACS, and fluoroscopy
- Epic EMR experience required, minimum 1 year
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
- Call requirements include 1 weekend per month and 1 weeknight per week
- Must be willing to float within the health system, including occasional float to another campus as operationally needed
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- ARRT(R) or RCIS certification required
- Oregon license required if applicable; pending license accepted
- Epic EMR experience required within the past year
- Proficiency in sterile technique, vascular access, EKG lead placement, and arrhythmia recognition required
- Experience with vascular closure systems and hemodynamic monitoring required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include room circulation, scrubbing in to maintain sterile field, equipment setup, and accurate patient monitoring during procedures
- Weekly orientation held on Mondays
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Previous PeaceHealth employees must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Up to 7 RTO days may be approved prior to contract signing, with no additional RTO approved after signing
- Local candidates are not accepted; must reside 60+ miles from the facility
- Candidates with more than one DUI are not eligible for consideration
