Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Perioperative Circulator for a Pediatric OR position requiring Level I trauma experience and an active RN license or multistate compact license.
Details
- Pediatric Operating Room (OR) setting within an acute hospital environment
- Perioperative circulator role supporting pediatric surgical procedures
- Days shift, 12-hour shifts, Friday-Saturday-Sunday from 0630-1900
- 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
Requirements
- Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Minimum of one year experience in an acute operating room environment
- One year of Level I trauma experience as a Perioperative Circulator in Pediatrics required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
- CNOR certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of AORN Standards and professional nursing theory, practices, and techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Additional Information
- Plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures
- Provide direct and indirect professional nursing care within the operating room
- Perform ongoing evaluation and documentation of all components of patient care using the nursing process
- Individualize patient care based on health status, age, and type of surgery or procedure
- Work collaboratively as part of a specialized surgical team
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- Compliance documentation must be completed promptly, as start dates cannot be pushed once booked
- Extensions limited to one time for a total of 26 weeks; a 6-month separation is required before reapplying for another contract
