Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 3P-3A shift position requiring TNCC certification and prior ER experience.

Details

• Emergency Department setting with 22 beds serving all patient populations
• Patient ratios of 4:1 for pod patients, 2:1 for critical patients, and 6:1 for fast track
• Treats a wide range of cases including traumas, STEMIs, psych, cardiac, GI, and stroke patients
• Uses Cerner EHR
• Shift schedule from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• Every other weekend required, totaling 4 weekend shifts in 4 weeks
• No on-call requirements
• No floating requirements

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS (AHA certifications required)
• Minimum 2+ years of ER experience required
• Trauma and pediatric experience preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

• Provide emergency nursing care across a wide variety of acute and critical conditions
• Candidates must be a hard worker, resilient, team-oriented, and easygoing
• Bi-weekly orientation schedule
• Scrubs of any color or print are acceptable; non-scrub attire, t-shirts, open-toe shoes, hoodies, and leggings are not permitted
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
