Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a Cardiac Cath Lab role requiring 2+ years of experience and RCIS or ARRT certification.

Details

  • Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 5 beds and 25 staff members
  • Adult patient population with 1:1 patient ratios
  • Procedures include diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations and structural heart procedures
  • Uses X-ray, PACS, Mac Lab, iStat, and Avox equipment
  • Cerner EMR used
  • Day shift schedule of 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
  • On-call requirement for night shift coverage
  • Every 5th weekend on-call from 7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Monday
  • No floating required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
  • Current ACLS and BLS certification
  • RCIS or ARRT certification required
  • License required if applicable
  • Must be able to work within a fast-paced invasive cardiology environment

Additional Information

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and structural heart procedures
  • Surgical green scrub color required
  • 50 mile radius rule applies; local candidates will not be considered
