Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a Cardiac Cath Lab role requiring 2+ years of experience and RCIS or ARRT certification.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 5 beds and 25 staff members
- Adult patient population with 1:1 patient ratios
- Procedures include diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations and structural heart procedures
- Uses X-ray, PACS, Mac Lab, iStat, and Avox equipment
- Cerner EMR used
- Day shift schedule of 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
- On-call requirement for night shift coverage
- Every 5th weekend on-call from 7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Monday
- No floating required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
- Current ACLS and BLS certification
- RCIS or ARRT certification required
- License required if applicable
- Must be able to work within a fast-paced invasive cardiology environment
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and structural heart procedures
- Surgical green scrub color required
- 50 mile radius rule applies; local candidates will not be considered
