Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR and neurointerventional radiology experience for a 13-week travel assignment.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit with 2 single plane (GE) rooms and 2 biplane (Philips) rooms, plus one Invasive CT scanner
- Unit staffed with 15 techs plus a manager and Data/Quality Analyst, with dedicated nursing support in each room
- Day shift staffing includes 2 techs and 1 nurse per room; night shift includes 1 tech and 1 RN onsite
- 1:1 patient ratios
- Uses Cerner (Radnet) EMR
- Day shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Float requirement to VOR area
- Weekend rotation every 7th weekend, plus one night of secondary call during the week
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology, including scrub and circulate duties
- Previous neurointerventional radiology experience required, including scrub and circulate duties
- Current BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Vascular OR experience preferred
- Cath Lab experience preferred
- VI Registration preferred
Additional Information
- Perform procedures including dialysis access work (permcaths, fistulagrams), neph tube placements, arteriograms/embolizations, Y-90, G tubes, TIPS, and Inari cases
- Perform cerebral arteriograms, coilings, pipeline procedures, mechanical thrombectomies, and vertebroplasties
- Ideal candidates are flexible and strong team players
- Hospital-provided scrubs
- First-time travelers may be considered
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
