Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2+ years of L&D experience and intermediate fetal monitoring certification.
Details
- 13-week travel assignment in the Ob Gyn Combined unit of a hospital setting
- 16-bed Labor and Delivery unit
- Night shift, 7P-7A
- Weekly guaranteed 36 hours with 5-6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
- No scheduled call but may flex down according to unit census
- Floating not typically required but may float to task/secretary duties if needed
- Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines
- Uses GE Centricity/Paragon EHR
Requirements
- Active RN license (NC or Compact)
- Current certifications: NRP, BLS, and Fetal Monitoring (must have completed Intermediate level at minimum, Advanced acceptable if current)
- Minimum 2 years Labor and Delivery experience required
- Couplet care experience required
- LDRP experience required
- Some NICU experience required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration
- Copies of required certifications must be provided
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting including couplet care
- Duke Lifepoint hospital that is Joint Commission accredited
- 205 licensed beds with an 'A' LeapFrog Hospital Safety Rating
- Region's largest and most comprehensive ED and Free Standing ED
- Largest and most advanced ICU and PCU in the region
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel pay rate
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
