Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring DaVinci robotics experience and expertise across multiple surgical specialties.
Details
- 13-week assignment in a hospital Surgery unit
- Monday through Friday schedule, 06:30-15:00, with flexibility
- Call requirements based on department needs, currently 1-2 weekday night call shifts per week
- Required to work 2 weekend days per 4-week schedule
- Holiday coverage required for Christmas Eve
- May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Required experience with DaVinci robotics
- Required experience in orthopedics including total joints, sports medicine, and spine
- Required experience in urology and general surgery
- Required experience in endoscopy including EGD and colonoscopies
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Nursys verification and primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties
- Only one submission permitted per Ascension system-wide position
- Travelers should discuss assignment extensions with their manager at least 45 days before the end date
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required
- Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
