Description

American Traveler is hiring a Case Management RN for a Level II Trauma Center, requiring 1 year of acute care case management experience and a WA or compact RN license.

Details

• Acute hospital setting within the Case Management/Utilization Review department
• Day shift, 5x8 hours (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
• Every other weekend required
• Float required between Colby and Pacific campuses, less than 2 miles apart
• Patient ratio of 1:25-30
• Uses Epic charting system
• Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period

Requirements

• Active WA state or compact RN license required in hand at submission
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required
• Discharge planning and care coordination experience required
• Diverse case management experience preferred, including Med Surg, LLOS, and ED
• Epic charting experience required
• 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years, may include Charge RNs/Leads

Additional Information

• Provide case management services including care coordination, discharge planning, needs assessment, DME ordering, and plan of care development
• Level II Trauma Center with 571 total staffed beds across both campuses
• Any scrub color permitted except reddish orange
• Facility-paid parking
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius for travel rate eligibility
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside outside 50 miles of the facility
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of application
