Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Interventional Radiology position requiring CT/compact RN licensure and prior IR procedure experience.

Details

• Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital setting
• 10-hour day shifts with rotating start times of 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:00 AM
• 40 hours per week on a rotating shift schedule including weekends and holidays
• On-call responsibilities required
• Mandatory overtime may apply as part of unit rotation coverage

Requirements

• Active RN license (CT or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Two years of experience performing interventional and special radiographic procedures preferred
• Hybrid interventional radiology experience preferred
• Considerable knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and applicable diagnostic equipment, procedures, and techniques required
• Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety techniques and policies required
