Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 12-hour day shift position requiring recent specialty experience and AWHONN certification.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit (670) within a hospital setting
- Patient population includes pregnancy, preeclampsia, diabetes, and preterm labor cases
- Schedule varies between 7a-7p, 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
- No on-call requirements
- Cerner EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN
Additional Information
- Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
- Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
- RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
