Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with ARRT MR certification and preferred experience in Trauma Level I/II settings for an evening shift assignment.

Details

• MRI Tech unit within Radiology/Cardiology department
• Evening shift, 5x8 hours, Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Uses Philips and GE equipment
• Epic charting system preferred
• Performs abdomen and pelvis, female and male pelvis, and MRCP imaging
• Preferred exposure to adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, and ER/Trauma settings
• Preferred experience in head and neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and special imaging procedures including MRA, MRV, diffusion, and perfusion studies

Requirements

• ARRT MR, ARRT R, and BLS certification required
• ACLS, NIHSS, and Nursys verification required for consideration
• Minimum 1 year of experience required, 2 years preferred
• Previous travel experience required
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Proficiency in isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, and starting peripheral IVs
• License required if applicable
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility; local candidates not accepted

Additional Information

• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with automatic cancellation for a positive result
• Candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could result in a positive drug screen
• RTO must be submitted with candidate profile
• License must be in-hand prior to start date
• Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of accepting an offer or a completion plan must be in place
• Orientation includes 2-3 hours of modules completed within the first 16 hours
