Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring 2+ years of ER experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

Emergency Room unit within a 495-bed hospital
3p-3a shift schedule with 3x12's (mid-shift)
Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
On-call requirement of 1 8-hour call shift per 4-week schedule
No floating required
EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

Active RN license (VA State or Compact) required
BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only), and NIHSS certifications required
Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
2+ years of ER nursing experience required
US SSN required for consideration; Canadian SIN not accepted
No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

Deliver emergency nursing care across a wide range of patient presentations
Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code policy
Must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility to be considered; local candidates not accepted
Holiday coverage required as part of the every-other-weekend/holiday rotation
