Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring 2+ years of ER experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Work in a 495-bed Emergency Room setting
• Mid-shift schedule of 3p-3a (3x12's)
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• On-call requirement of 1 8-hour call shift per 4-week schedule
• No floating required
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active VA RN license or Compact required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only), and NIHSS
• 2+ years of ER experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• US SSN required for consideration
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Assignment duration of 13+ weeks, with 16 weeks preferred
• Navy blue scrub color required per facility dress code policy
• Must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• 3 days of preapproved time off allowed as long as it does not fall during a holiday
• Any block scheduling approved, but no specific day blocks will be considered
• Located in Winchester, Virginia, near Washington, D.C., Shenandoah National Park, and the Blue Ridge Mountains
