Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric RN for a PeriAnesthesia/Surgical Observation Unit position requiring ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications on night shift.

Details

Work in a 10-bed Pediatric PeriAnesthesia Unit with an additional 4-bed Pediatric Surgical Observation Unit (PSOU)
PSOU provides specialized postoperative care for pediatric patients requiring overnight observation or extended recovery up to 23 hours following surgery
Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
13-week assignment
Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Requirements

Active VA or compact RN license required (pending VA license accepted)
Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
Epic EMR experience required for SRO Float Pool and Inpatient Units

Additional Information

Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care to pediatric surgical patients
Up to 40 hours of requested time off may be approved during the contract
Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
