Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Telemetry RN with oncology and chemotherapy administration expertise for a hospital-based night shift assignment in California.
Details
- Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
- Oncology patient population requiring chemotherapy administration
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- Uses EPIC EMR system
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
- ONS certification or OCN required
- Competency in administering chemotherapy including complex chemo medication administration
- Prior oncology nursing experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide telemetry and oncology nursing care including chemotherapy administration to patients
- New hires will complete NEO chemo modules followed by an 8-hour didactic session plus 2 days of chemo administration shadowing with a unit oncology nurse
- Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate as travel candidates
