Description
American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT (R) certification and 1+ years of experience.
Details
- Radiology department in a 185-bed hospital
- Staffed by 7 full-time and 5 PRN technologists
- Traveler will work night shift
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- Heavy OR surgery case volume along with ER, outpatient, and inpatient x-ray and fluoroscopy procedures
- Equipment includes GE, C-arms (OEC 9800 & 9900), O-Arm, and GE 3D C-arm
- EMR systems used include Epic and McKesson PACS
- Schedule is Sat-Mon 7:30 AM-8:00 PM
- Rotating call and holidays required, including evenings/overnights and weekends for OR add-ons or high volume periods
- No floating required
Requirements
- ARRT (R) certification required, with 2+ years experience and OR experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Must have 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the role being applied for
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Perform x-ray and fluoroscopy imaging across OR, ER, outpatient, and inpatient settings
- Ideal candidate is self-motivated, patient-focused, detail-oriented, and produces high-quality imaging
- Scrub color/attire is grey or pewter
- Must be willing to participate in call rotation with full-time staff
- Local candidates will not be considered
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
