Description
American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Progressive Care Unit (Telemetry) position requiring 2 years of acute PCU experience and a KY or compact RN license.
Details
- Progressive Care/Tele unit with 34 beds and a patient ratio of 4-5:1
- Patient population includes pulmonary and sickle cell diagnoses
- Common medications include antibiotics, heparin, and pain medications
- Utilizes skills such as IVs, PCA, CPAP, feeding tubes, wound vac care, dialysis fistula management, cardioversion, and EKGs
- Telemetry monitoring and titration experience not required
- Night shift schedule from 6:45pm-7:15am
- Works every other weekend
- 36 hours per week across 3 twelve-hour shifts
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient PCU RN experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
- Epic EMR experience required
