Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring 2 years of acute inpatient PCU experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting within a hospital environment
- 36 hours/week across three 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM-7:15 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (KY or Compact) required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient PCU RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
Additional Information
- Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and coordinates patient/family education
- Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff and serves as a mentor/preceptor
- Participates in quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives
