Description
American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for an inpatient rehab position in Sioux City, IA, open to new grads and offering a compact license option.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation unit at a downtown hospital campus
- Day shift, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with possible 4x10 scheduling
- Weekend work is voluntary and no on-call requirements
- May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Compact license accepted
Requirements
- Active state license required (license required if applicable)
- Current CPR and BLS certification required
- Mandatory reporter certification required
- New graduates welcome to apply
- At least one completed travel contract preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Must not have been employed by the facility within the last 12 months
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- Work history/resume required for consideration
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year required for consideration
- One supervisory reference required at time of consideration
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Additional Information
- Contribute professional and clinical expertise as part of an interdisciplinary care team
- Provide assessment and treatment for inpatient rehab patients
- Facility is a Level 3 trauma center
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Travelers required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
