Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night-shift role requiring ARRT (CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of current imaging/CT experience.
Details
- Radiology department in a community hospital setting
- Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric
- 12-hour night shifts, Friday/Saturday/Sunday, 6:00 PM-6:30 AM, with occasional weekday overtime opportunities
- 36-hour guaranteed schedule
- Part of shift/holiday rotation required
- No on-call requirements
- Uses MediTech, Phillips, Siemens, AGFA DR, and Siemens OEC C-arm equipment
- EMR system used is HMS Medhost
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years current Imaging/CT experience required
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License required if applicable
- Compact license accepted
- Strong IV skills required
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to a new environment required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior travel assignment experience preferred
Additional Information
- Performs all diagnostic CT procedures under the guidance of the CT clinical supervisor, ensuring high-quality, consistent exams across all age groups
- Works collaboratively with patients, physicians, and interdepartmental staff to prioritize patient care
- Personal scrubs of any color permitted
- Requires reliable personal transportation, as the community lacks public transit
- Must work two major holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving through the following weekend, Christmas Eve through the weekend after Christmas, and New Year's Eve through the weekend after New Year's Day
- No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted for the duration of the assignment, and all time-off requests must be submitted prior to consideration
- Scheduling requests must be finalized before consideration and cannot be modified after an offer is made
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
- First-time travelers may be considered for this role
