Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring critical care/Angio-IR experience at a Level 1 Trauma and Certified Stroke Center.

Details

  • Work in the Angiography/Interventional Radiology unit within the Heart and Vascular Tower
  • Unit includes 3 angiography labs (2 dedicated IR labs and 1 hybrid OR)
  • Patient ratio of 1:1
  • Team staffing includes Lead Tech, RN, ARRT/RTR, and RCIS in 3-4 person teams
  • Uses IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream equipment
  • Documentation via EPIC Cupid
  • 4x10-hour shift schedule with on-call requirements
  • Shift hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • No floating required

Requirements

  • Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • Critical care and Angio/IR experience required, including stroke and trauma care
  • ICU or ER patient experience required
  • Critical care drip (gtt) management skills required
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Perform procedures including Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma cases
  • Work within a Level 1 Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center
  • Care for a high acuity patient population
  • Required uniform: Royal blue and black scrubs for RNs
  • Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered; no local candidates accepted
