Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring critical care/Angio-IR experience at a Level 1 Trauma and Certified Stroke Center.
Details
- Work in the Angiography/Interventional Radiology unit within the Heart and Vascular Tower
- Unit includes 3 angiography labs (2 dedicated IR labs and 1 hybrid OR)
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- Team staffing includes Lead Tech, RN, ARRT/RTR, and RCIS in 3-4 person teams
- Uses IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream equipment
- Documentation via EPIC Cupid
- 4x10-hour shift schedule with on-call requirements
- Shift hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- No floating required
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Critical care and Angio/IR experience required, including stroke and trauma care
- ICU or ER patient experience required
- Critical care drip (gtt) management skills required
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform procedures including Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma cases
- Work within a Level 1 Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center
- Care for a high acuity patient population
- Required uniform: Royal blue and black scrubs for RNs
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered; no local candidates accepted
