Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring strong ortho/total joints, scopes, and neuro surgical experience.

Details

  • Work in the Surgery department of a hospital setting
  • Shift schedule of 3x12s, 7a-7p, 36 hours per week
  • On-call responsibilities required

Requirements

  • Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand
  • Minimum of 18 months of recent OR nursing experience required
  • Strong experience with orthopedics, total joints, scopes, and neuro procedures required

Additional Information

  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
  • Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
  • RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not on or near a holiday, or 3 days if on or near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed
