Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for an inpatient float position requiring Level I trauma experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Inpatient case management role with float coverage across units within scope
- Level I trauma center setting
- Uses Epic for charting
- Day shift schedule (4x10 hours, 8:00-18:00), including Saturday and Sunday with remaining days negotiable
Requirements
- Active VA or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
- Minimum 1 year of acute inpatient case management experience required
- Previous charge experience required
- Level I trauma experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- BLS certification required
- BSN preferred
- Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program (diploma, Associate's, or BSN accepted)
- 2 professional references required (supervisor level or above)
Additional Information
- Float within scope of practice as needed based on facility demand
- Facility follows a natural nail policy
- Drug and tobacco free workplace, smoking not permitted on campus
- Facility conducts background reviews for all candidates
- Local candidates accepted at the same base rate with no radius restrictions
- Both travelers and permanent staff must be separated from the facility for one year before returning as a traveler
- Modules assigned during orientation via the facility's Learning Exchange, completed by the Friday of orientation week
- Time off requests must be submitted upfront and are subject to unit manager approval; no time off granted during the first week of assignment
