Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience for a day shift assignment with rotating call.

Details

Nuclear Medicine department setting
5x8 day shift schedule, Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Rotating call required: weekday call 3:30 PM to midnight, weekend call 7:00 AM to midnight both Saturday and Sunday
Uses Cerner charting system

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience required
Current BLS certification required
CNMT and ARRT(N) certifications preferred
License required if applicable
Cerner charting experience required
Skills in bone scans, SPECT imaging, thyroid studies, renal studies, myocardial perfusion studies, and other nuclear medicine procedures preferred

Additional Information

Perform a range of nuclear medicine procedures including bone, brain, liver, renal, cardiac, and pulmonary imaging studies
Responsibilities include drawing venous blood, starting and maintaining IVs, and safely storing, handling, and disposing of radioactive materials
Community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I experience preferred
First-time travelers accepted
Candidates within a 75-mile radius of the facility are accepted
