Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 3+ years of ED experience and a WI or compact RN license.
Details
- Emergency Department-Trauma unit setting
- Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
- 13-week assignment length
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- May float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA)
- TNCC certification preferred
- NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
- Ascension MOAB training preferred
- 3+ years of ED experience with prior travel experience, or 5+ years in a large ED without travel experience
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide emergency care in a high-acuity trauma department
- Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate for local candidates
- Only one submission allowed system-wide to Ascension positions
- First-time travelers considered if they meet the large ED experience requirement
