Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with interventional experience for a 13-week travel assignment in a cardiac cath lab setting.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 3 procedure rooms
- Team of 11 staff including 1 charge, 3 techs, and 3 nurses on day shift
- Night shift covered by 3 on-call staff
- Patient ratio of 3 staff per case
- Equipment includes Phillips and Siemens imaging systems
- EMR systems used are MERGE Hemo and Meditech Expanse
- Procedures performed include EPS, PVI, PPM, left and right heart catheterization, PCI, IR, and vascular procedures
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- On-call requirement of at least 10 shifts per month
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cath Lab required
- Interventional experience required
- EP or IR experience preferred
- ARRT and RCIS certifications required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with panning x-ray table required
- License required if applicable
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Professional reference required (2 references required for Florida and Missouri)
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Perform interventional cardiac and vascular procedures including EPS, PVI, PPM, heart catheterizations, PCI, and IR procedures
- Opportunity to help educate and mentor younger staff
- Surgical scrubs provided
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates will be considered
