Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT(CT) certification for a night shift position in a Radiology department.
Details
- Radiology department setting
- 10-hour night shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, 4 days per week
- 40 hours per week
- Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years current experience required
- HS Diploma or GED required
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute)
- Primary ARRT certification required
- ARRT(CT) certification required
- NM State License required if applicable
- Epic experience preferred
Additional Information
- Performs computerized tomographic radiographs according to established practices and procedures
- Reviews exams for clinical appropriateness and prioritizes exams accordingly
- Demonstrates effective communication of critical situations
- Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures
- Radius rule of 50 miles applies; local candidates not considered
- Returning staff must wait one year before being reconsidered as a traveler
